IISC Ireland Trainings, Workshops, and Facilitation

Each of these training workshops is usually held over two or three days.

Facilitative Leadership for Social Change

Lead in a way that inspires, invites participation and builds commitment

Facilitative Leadership for Social Change develops practical collaborative skills and tools for tapping the creativity, experience and commitment of staff and colleagues and provides participants with a forum in which to explore their challenges and aspirations as leaders. At the heart of the workshop are powerful leadership practices that, when fully embraced, create the conditions for people to move together from vision to action in extraordinary new ways.

Pathways to Change

Find new and creative ways to build relationships, think strategically and chart our way forward to a better future

Pathway to Change™ is deeply rooted in IISC’s experience and practice in the social sector and will provide you with the methods and tools needed to artfully design and skillfully facilitate collaborative change. If you are engaged in a network – whether it be a partnership, task force, working group or multi-stakeholder forum – Pathway to Change™ will lift up the essential skills you need …from facilitating productive and meaningful conversations to designing a roadmap that will take your change efforts successfully forward to have far greater impact.

Essential Facilitation

Facilitate strategic thinking, collaborative problem solving, and agreement building

In this three-day facilitation workshop, you will learn the essential strategies and skills for helping groups solve problems, resolve conflict and build agreement. Led by expert practitioners, this workshop will provide you with a solid foundation of facilitation theory and practice for immediate use.

Customised Workshops

We also design and deliver customised workshops to meet the specific needs of leaders, managers and senior staff in local authorities and NGOs around topics such as:

  • Collaborate to Innovate – building relationships with key stakeholders and taking action together.
  • Community Planning – innovative methods for reaching stakeholders.
  • Managing with Impact – improving performance through engagement and ownership.
  • Transitions – implementing collectively owned change.
  • Values and Culture – creating workplaces based on dignity and respect.
  • Team Building – fostering connection and commitment.

We have significant experience of working with local community groups at grass roots level and tailor all our workshops to ensure they meet their specific requirements.

We specialise in the design, development and facilitation of meetings. Often these are high stakes events requiring skilled facilitation to build alignment, develop collectively owned plans and reach lasting agreements.
