Moving Toward the New Year

December 23, 2009 3 Comments

Greetings and best wishes for the rest of this holiday season.? In the Northern Hemisphere, we’re now turning toward longer days and celebrating the return of the sun. Boston, like most of the eastern US, was blanketed in snow this past weekend.? And IISC will be on break the rest of this week and all of next week, holding to its commitment of balance, well-being and sustainability.

I’ve been reflecting quite a bit on all the things I’ve learned over the past year, the ways IISC has grown and shifted, and feel honored to be part of such a dynamic organization and group of people.

One of the new things this year has been the launch of this blog.? As part of reflecting on the blog, I’ve been wondering about what you think – what you’d like to read more about over the next few months or year, what you enjoy in our blog, what you’d love to see us cover that we haven’t yet touched, how we can share what we’re learning about radically changing the way that change happens in the world.? It would be great to hear about what you would like.

So again, happy holidays – and help let us know what you’d like to see in this blog in the new year.

    Hi Linda,
I have really appreciated this blog over the past few months for various reasons. I like the general approach to leadership and service provided by IISC. I think that this blog has created a great forum for spreading ideas that are integral to the management and growth of people and organizations focused on social change. Particularly, I have enjoyed reading people’s perspectives on leadership and inspiration, as well as spiritual activism. I have had the wonderful opportunity to discuss the importance of holistic management processes that create the opportunity for members of organizations such as IISC to grow and continue pursuing goals of social change with a truly community oriented perspective. I think this is fantastic, and I’d like to that you all for this. Wishing you amazing holidays!
