Where is the training? The NonProfit Center Boston: 89 South Street, Boston, MA 02111. Our building services liaison will be able to direct you to the training room.
The NonProfit Center is on the corner of Essex and South streets. The entrance is on South Street through the revolving glass doors.
Where should I stay? How do I get there? Interaction Institute for Social Change does not have any partnerships with local hotels, and we do not offer recommendations. There are many options in and around the Boston area. We suggest that you use one of the many web-based services to search out those options.
We are one block away from the South Station MBTA Red Line, Silver Line, and Commuter Rail/Amtrak station. MBTA Orange Line (Chinatown), Blue Line (State), and Green Line (Park Street) stations are all available within a 0.4 mile radius. We recommend using an app with a GPS feature to find our training space.
Parking downtown can be both challenging and expensive, and we recommend taking public transit whenever possible. However, there are several parking lots within walking distance of the NonProfit Center. You can locate them on BestParking or another parking space aggregator.
When will the workshop begin? When will it end? Our workshops run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please arrive as early as 8:30 AM to check in and enjoy breakfast refreshments, particularly on the first day. Again, we expect participants to be fully present throughout each day of the workshop, and request that you make travel arrangements that allow for this.
What do I bring? What should I wear? We recommend that participants bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the training. Dress for comfort and fluctuations in temperature.
What will we be eating? We will be serving breakfast refreshments, lunch, and midday snacks for each day of the training. Our lunches can easily accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free diets, but be sure to indicate this on your registration form.
How do I know that my registration is confirmed?
You should receive an email upon completion of your on line registration. If you do not receive an email with your confirmation number, you can email the Training Coordinator at (firstname.lastname@example.org) for that information.
What if I need to cancel? Can someone from my organization attend? Can I get a refund?
Workshop cancellations are subject to the full workshop fee. If you can no longer attend the workshop for which you registered, you may transfer your registration to another workshop date within 12 months from the date of the workshop for which you were originally registered.
Transfer requests made at least 14 days prior to the start of the workshop will incur a change fee of $50 for nonprofits and $75 for foundations. Transfer requests made less than two weeks fewer than 14 days (two weeks) before the start of the training are subject to a change fee of $200 for nonprofits and $225 for foundations.
You may substitute another person from your organization up to 9 AM Eastern Time the day before the workshop at no additional charge. Please make this change by updating your registration or by contacting our training coordinator at email@example.com or 617.863.2038.
We occasionally must cancel a workshop due to low enrollment and generally make that determination two weeks prior to the start date. In this case, you will be contacted by the workshop coordinator and a full refund or the opportunity to register for another workshop will be offered.
