Registration Confirmation: You will receive an email upon completion of your on line registration. That email will include links to all relevant information about your workshop. If you plan to travel in order to attend one of our trainings, please be sure to make your arrangements that will allow you to stay until the end of the training (5 PM).

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 

Workshop cancellations are subject to the full workshop fee. If you can no longer attend the workshop for which you registered, you may transfer your registration to another workshop date. Transfer requests made at least 14 days prior to the start of the workshop will incur a change fee of $50 for nonprofits and $75 for foundations. Transfer requests made less than two weeks (14 days) before the start of the training are subject to a change fee of $200 for nonprofits and $225 for foundations.

You may substitute another person from your organization up to 9 AM Eastern Time the day before the workshop at no additional charge by updating your registration or by contacting the Public Workshop Coordinator.

We occasionally must cancel a workshop due to low enrollment and generally make that determination two weeks prior to the start date. Please confirm with the workshop coordinator

Workshop Hours: Our workshops run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please arrive as early as 8:30 AM to check in and enjoy breakfast, particularly on the first day. Again, we expect participants to be fully present throughout each day of the workshop, and request that you make travel arrangements that allow for this.

Dress: Dress for comfort and fluctuations in temperature.

Hotel Accommodations: The Workshop fee does not include hotel accommodations; however, there are many options in and around each of our workshop locations (Boston, New York City, and Oakland). We suggest that you use one of the many web-based services to search out those options. Under no circumstances do we reimburse workshop participants for travel or lodging.

Via Public Transportation: Take BART to the 12th Street Oakland City Center Station. From there, you may take the Free Broadway Shuttle (or “Free B”) to 3rd street. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday. From the intersection of Broadway and 3rd Street, continue towards 520 3rd Street until you reach ConneXion @ Jack London Square.

Walking directions: From the 12th Street Oakland City Center Station, continue down Broadway for .5 miles until you reach the intersection of Broadway and 3rd Street. Take a right onto 3rd Street and continue to walk another .2 miles until you reach ConneXion @ Jack London Square, 520 3rd Street.

Parking: For off-street parking, this location is convenient to the Washington Street Parking Garage: 101 Washington St Oakland, CA 94607.
