Cyndi Suarez

Director of Development & Strategic Relationships

Cyndi Suarez helps social change leaders identify the key strategic shifts their organizations can make to increase the impact of their efforts. She focuses on helping groups build a culture of excellence by connecting day-to-day activities with long-term vision, elegant organizational design, and meaningful participation at all levels. She specializes in network strategies—helping organizations identify their core functions and niches, and leveraging strategic partnerships to achieve large scale change. She has a passion for liberating structures.

Ms. Suarez was Executive Director at Northeast Action, the first regional political strategy center in the United States, for seven years before moving on to create a network grant making strategy for Boston Rising, a startup philanthropic organization. She has developed an organizational development framework for networked organizations that helps them understand the capacities necessary at different phases of network development. Cyndi holds a BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Boston College, an MA in Feminist Theory from the New School for Social Research, and an MS in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.
