Jen is curious about new and creative ways to build community that will restore everyone’s humanity. She was raised in Rochester, NY and spent time in the San Francisco Bay Area working with organizations including Peace Action West, Critical Resistance, the Challenging White Supremacy Workshop, and Community United Against Violence. At IISC for nearly a decade, Jen’s work focuses on collaborative process design, network building, training and facilitation for clients who are seeking to make deep institutional, structural, and/or community change, as well as groups who want help figuring out how to actualize their commitment to racial equity. Jen has led network building and equity consulting projects in the fields of education, juvenile justice, oral health, HIV/AIDS, and public health. Jen also served as a co-chair of the Resource Generation board of directors. She is a cook, writer, textile crafter, and accordion player. Jen holds a B.A. in religion and anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard University. Jen is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
