Workshop Logistics

Confirmation:

You will receive an email upon completion of your on line registration. That email will include links to all relevant information about your workshop.

If you plan to travel in order to attend one of our trainings, please do not make any non-refundable travel arrangements until you’ve checked with the workshop coordinator regarding the status of the training. We occasionally must cancel a workshop due to low enrollment and generally make that determination two weeks prior to the start date. Under no circumstances do we reimburse workshop participants for travel or lodging.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Workshop cancellations are subject to the full workshop fee.

If you can no longer attend the workshop for which you registered, you may transfer your registration to another workshop date; however, transfers to another course will incur a change fee ($50 for nonprofits and $75 for foundations).

You may substitute another person from your organization up to 3 PM Eastern Time the day before the workshop at no additional charge by updating your registration or by contacting the Public Workshop Coordinator.

Workshop Hours:

The workshops generally run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please arrive as early as 8 a.m. to check in and enjoy breakfast, particularly on the first day.

The location of an IISC workshop in San Francisco will be provided to participants upon registration.

Dress:

Dress for comfort and fluctuations in temperature.

Hotel Accommodations:

The workshop fee does not include hotel accommodations; however, there are many options in and around the Boston and San Francisco workshop locations. We suggest you use one of the many web-based services - e.g., tripadvisor.com, hotels.com, expedia.com - to search out those options.
