Yuqing Lu

Senior Accountant

Yuqing joined IISC as a staff accountant in January 2021 and was promoted to senior accountant later in 2021. She has more than 15 years of experience as an accounting professional with extensive background in non-profit and grant accounting (both government and non-governmental). She serves as a key support staff for the organization’s financial operations including overseeing general accounting activities such as accounts payable/receivable and month-end close. In addition to collaborating with staff across the organization in many areas, especially billing and reconciliations, she also assists the financial team in payroll processes, IISC’s annual audit, and financial monitoring.

Prior to IISC, she dedicated 10+ years, as a senior accountant with the MassHire Metro North Workforce Board where she worked together with both finance and program teams collaboratively developed and managed the work stream of the full-cycle accounting processes and financial reporting system for a $8+ million fiscal budget.

Yuqing devotes herself to lifelong learning and open collaborative spirit, and she is committed to IISC’s mission and values of social justice. Outside of her work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
