Advancing Racial Justice in Organizations (ARJ) is getting an upgrade!

One of the most consistent responses from participants in the workshop is that they want more time, and want to leave with a more concrete plan for next steps within their organizations. We took that to heart and are excited to share this sneak preview of a revamped ARJ that will be available beginning in the summer of 2020: 

  • An Organizational Discovery Worksheet to dive into important organizational racial equity questions with your colleagues before coming to the workshop
  • A pre-workshop webinar to build common language and analysis (building on what we have traditionally explored during the morning of the current workshop)
  • A two-day workshop experience that covers all that we cover in the one-day workshop, and more, organized around three core racial equity strategies developed by the Government Alliance on Race and Equity: normalize the conversation; organize the people and the process; operationalize racial equity in your work  
  • Worksheets to use during the workshop and beyond to map out your organizational Pathway to Action

We will continue to recommend that you attend with colleagues – at least two and up to four people per organization or network. You’ll have multiple opportunities to work with your organizational partners on elements of your organizational Pathway to Action.
