Jasmine Williams
People & Culture Manager
As IISC’s People & Culture Manager, Jasmine (she/her/hers) works to support our internal team toward a vision of equitable power sharing and the development of practices and policies aligned with our values and rooted in our collaborative change lens. In addition to her focus on HR and organizational change work, she acts as a member of our trainings teams to help deliver highly successful IISC workshops. Jasmine also works closely with IISC’s full-time staff along with our team of part-time consultants and trainers.
Jasmine joined us as a recent graduate from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and psychology. Her studies in social psychology, organizational behavior, and cross-cultural psychology inform the way she builds community, collaborates with our team, and strives to create more equitable and accessible spaces. In previous jobs, she worked to integrate racial equity into various marketing initiatives, venture capital trainings, and recruiting processes. As a self-proclaimed generalist, she has experience in a wide range of roles, including: accounting, procurement, marketing, recruiting, event planning, office administration, brewery service, and even farmer’s market coordination! Jasmine believes deeply that all individuals have the capacity and responsibility to bring more love, empathy, and grace into the many spaces they inhabit.
Originally from the east coast of southern Florida, Jasmine maintains a deep love for the beach and finds comfort in nature. She enjoys writing and has publicly performed many pieces of spoken word poetry that explore her own racial identity and experiences as a black queer woman. In her free time, you’ll find her caring for her large collection of houseplants, playing board games, doing puzzles, lounging with her cat, creating art, and visiting breweries across the country.
