Grace says to Occupy Wall Street:
“Thank you for breaking through the silence.” I say YES!
She says “This enemy of ours is not just Wall Street. It’s the whole culture. It’s a way of looking at us and valuing ourselves and each other.” YES!
“There’s a long way ahead… You have the opportunity to create something different that is based on some really different values. but you’re going to have to be thinking about values and not just about abuses.” YES!
So my question to us all is, what are those values? How are they different from what we enshrine today? I think Grace is right, it ain’t about technique until we get clear on what really roots and guides us.

To your question Curtis – is “community” a value? Is a commitment to conscious evolution and an “inter-subjective awakening” a value? Is justainability – a commitment to mother earth and to justice for those of us who are nourished by her – is that a value?
I say YES, Gibran! Those are values, and ones that resonate with me. I would add the enhancement of life as a value, being rooted in the ways and language of flourishing.
